I need a case about 0.5" wider to accommodate this cooler, at least. my case is 7.5" wide on the outside, and this cooler is listed as 6.3" tall, but it sticks out beyond the end of my case. But let's be honest, anyone buying a cooler like this is going to enjoy that process anyway.This thing is freaking tall. My case doesn't allow me access to the back of the motherboard, so I had to take my whole system apart to get the motherboard out, then rebuild it again. Basically, you need to attach a mounting plate to the bottom of the motherboard, replacing the stock one. It comes with brackets to allow you to do that.Install was a bit labour intensive, but I didn't list that as a con because I think any aftermarket cooler would require the same amount of work. Mostly because it balances out the look of the cooler. I just finished installing this CPU cooler, plus added a second Cooler Master 120mm fan to the other side, in a push-pull configuration.
